Fiesta Friday

Want to switch it up your cardio routine? Try dancing with Kizomba Harmony this Friday, January 19. Fiesta Friday Socials take place on the third Friday of each month. This weekend, music will be curated by DJ Billy the Kiz, bringing the best sounds of Semba, Kizomba, Konpa, and more! Admission is $20 online until 6 pm, $25 afterward. Tai Chi

The Jung Center's Mind Body Spirit Institute and the Asia Society Texas Center are hosting FREE Tai Chi in the Pavilion at 10 am, led by instructor, Bing You. The tai chi session will take place at the new public art installation, "Heat Silhouette," created by Rafael Domenech and Tomas Vu. RSVP recommended.



The Silos Third Saturday Open Art Studios 12-5 pm

Come and mingle with some of Houston's artists in their studios and galleries at Sawyer Yards, 12-5 pm.

The Muslim Organization for Sports, Socials, & Education is organizing a family night out at the Toyota Center! Faith & Family Night

KSBJ and Vida Unida are hosting the Faith & Family Night with the Rockets at the Toyota Center. When you purchase your tickets to the Rockets v. Celtics game, a t-shirt and admission to the post-game concert with Danny Gokey & Evan Craft are included. KSBJ and Vida Unida are also partnering with the local charity, Better Than I Found It. Be sure to bring a pack of new socks or underwear to drop off at donation boxes when you arrive!

Houston Public Works Artist Info Session #2

On Wednesday, January 24 at 5 pm, Houston Public Works and the City of Houston Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs are hosting a virtual information session for a new art project. They are accepting submissions from artists or artist teams to create an installation within Buffalo Bayou Park, memorializing the City of Houston employees who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
